Michael Francis

Chief Executive Officer

Mike founded ExMor Capital in 2008,  and merged with Flatirons in 2013.  Prior to ExMor, Mike was instrumental in building the US Residential Mortgage Trading Desk at Morgan Stanley. Mike worked directly with the top 300 mortgage bankers in the US and managed Morgan Stanley’s relationship with agencies and mortgage insurers.  Prior to Morgan Stanley Mike held senior management positions at Aurora Loan Services (Lehman Brothers) and Loan America. With more than 30 years in the mortgage banking industry, Mike’s experience ranges across  capital markets, risk management, operations, product development and servicing.

Mike has an education in computer science from Control Data Institute and The University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He resides in Williamsburg, VA with his wife Kristin, and has 7 children ranging from age 11 to age 28.

Robert Wiseman

Chief Operating Officer

Before joining  Flatirons Hedging Analytics in 2015, Rob was running his own business consulting and Investment Advisory firms in Atlanta.  He has significant experience in the Manufacturing, Retail, Information Technology, and Financial Services industries as an engineer, senior manager, entrepreneur, consultant, and professional, providing best practice solutions to closely held businesses and individuals.  He has worked for over 25 years implementing technology, managing resources, and exercising due diligence through phases of corporate stability, growth, and mergers and acquisitions.  He has worked with all levels of management across all disciplines, achieving successful business transformations for businesses and clients.

Rob has a BS in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Lehigh University, and lives in Williamsburg, VA with his wife Tobi and their two children.

Brent Buckmaster

Chief Analytics Officer

Brent brings a decade of capital markets and mortgage banking experience to FHA. Most recently, Brent worked at Capital Markets Cooperative as a senior trader where he executed security and loan sales. Brent is returning to work with Michael Francis, who he worked with at Morgan Stanley and ExMor Capital during its start up years. While at Morgan Stanley, Brent was a member of the Residential Mortgage Trading Desk at Morgan Stanley, and was responsible for the mark-to-market of their billion position; as well as monitoring P&L, hedge positions, and credit exceptions.

Brent has a BS in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. He currently lives in Ormond Beach, FL with his wife Laura, and has three children.

Tobi Wiseman, Esq.

Corporate Legal & Compliance Counsel

Tobi Wiseman comes to Flatirons Hedging Analytics most recently from Taylor English Duma LLP in Atlanta. Ms. Wiseman’s practice at Taylor English focused primarily on professional liability investigations and litigation. Her main clients were financial institutions, and have included the liquidating trustee of a real estate investment trust (REIT).

Tobi has also handled a variety of general business litigation matters. Ms. Wiseman has represented numerous clients as plaintiffs in personal injury claims, including premises liability, professional negligence and medical malpractice. She also has extensive experience in the team management of complex, document-intensive cases, including management of large-scale document productions in large securities fraud litigation.

Tobi received her JD from the Washington and Lee University School of Law, and has a BS in Psychology, with minors in French, Art, and English Literature from Flagler College.  She lives in Williamsburg, VA with her husband and two children.
